Blue Key has long-standing partnerships with a number of groups in and around Kirksville, Missouri. We also participate in many one-time service events as they come up throughout the years. Some reoccurring examples include:
- After-school tutoring at Ray Miller Elementary School
- Bingo, visiting, and hanging out with citizens at Manor Care Nursing Home
- Walking animals, cleaning kennels, and building play fields for the dogs at the Adair County Humane Society
- Volunteering to serve in the President’s box at TSU home football games
- Playing games at the Kirksville PACT (People Achieving Connections Together) Center
- Annual participation in Truman State University’s BIG Event
- Annually organizing the Truman State Homecoming Parade in conjunction with Cardinal Key
- Hosting and volunteering at two blood drives per school year in conjunction with Cardinal Key and the American Red Cross.
At the Leadership Recognition Program, members of Blue Key accepted the award for the 2015 Outstanding Service Organization!
